  7. SwiftGen is an interactive applications software development and management
  8. tool that generates error-free, standardized COBOL source code. SwiftGen
  9. provides a user-friendly format that can be effectively used by non-programmers
  10. and inexperienced programmers to produce File Maintenance, Inquiry, and Report
  11. programs in a fraction of the time required by traditional programming methods.
  12. Experienced programmers can utilize a host of support functions, such as the
  13. Skeleton Program Maintenance and User Code Entry facilities, to produce more
  14. sophisticated applications. The SwiftGen Data Dictionary System enables the
  15. user to define a proposed applications database, or to automatically create the
  16. Data Dictionary Definition for an existing database, prior to the program
  17. generation phase. During the program generation phase, the user can select the
  18. files and fields that will be processed by the ensuing generated programs.
